But wait...I thought you'd closed.

Yeah, we had, but see...we've got all this stuff.

Back in 2005, our fabric supplier put us on notice that we could purchase any fabric we needed, but had to do so in 600 yard increments. With 12 colors offered, that would have been a capital investment of more than $70,000: more money that we had made in more than five years of making stuff.

...So we hung up our sewing machines, shuttered the windows, blew out the candles, and went home.

After about a week, we noticed all these huge bolts of fabric left lying around. There were also several costume pieces and accessories left over. We tried for a year or so to get rid of it all to family, friends, other retailers, but it's just not happening fast enough.

We've got large quantities of cotton lycra in hunter green and brown - the two most popular renaissance festival colors - a few years of several jewel tones for the royals. We also have some fine quality Hammacher Schlemmer egyptian cotton - the same fabric used by Brooke's Brothers for their shirts. Novelty velvets and a few novelty shirtings round out the inventory.

Add to that, a few sporrans, mug holders, a sword or two. The basement's pretty full.

OH! Also, I've got a trunk full of unfinished tights I can stitch up and put online for sale. You know, those tights we quickly became famous for: the most comfortable men's tights - with codpiece - you can buy.

So here we are.

Over the next few weeks, we'll be filling the shopping cart software with inventory and it will change periodically, so check back often.
